Operation Kilimanjaro is a Moshi-based operator. We can tell you what our guests usually need to arrange, but we do not issue visas and we do not set immigration rules.
Visa fees, eligible nationalities, and yellow-fever rules change. Check the official Tanzania eVisa or immigration guidance, and your airline, before you book flights.
What to check first
Most international visitors need a passport that is valid for the full trip, plus a Tanzania visa or another entry permission that matches their nationality.
Some travelers use an electronic visa; others may be eligible for a visa on arrival. Do not assume your nationality follows the same path as a friend’s.

How this fits a Kilimanjaro or safari trip
Most of our climbs and northern-circuit safaris start with a pickup in Moshi or Arusha after you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or, for some safari combinations, another agreed meeting point.
Visa fees are not included in our tour prices. They appear on climb and safari exclusion lists as a personal cost.
